Flooded all purpose room in Chicago, IL

Water damage at the Temple Sholom was caused by an indoor water fountain. The fountain damaged the tiled ceiling, which were Armstong acoustical tiles, and wood the floor beneath in the all-purpose room.  The room is a multipurpose room that is used as a theater, banquet hall and a gym.  Ceiling tiles were removed and replaced with new ones.  Lifts had to be used for that part of the work.  The floor was tented (covered with thick plastic) and the dehumidifiers were duct-ed with plastic tubing in to dry the wood on the floor. After the flooring was dried it had to be sanded and refinished. Everyone was very happy with the outcome.
